What is "personal data"? ICO issues technical guidance

The Information Commissioner's Office has issued a lengthy technical guidance document to help people understand what is and isn't regarded as personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998. Whilst the content itself is nothing new, and merely reflects current law that has already been reported, it is useful to have the content all in one place, with some good examples.
