Nikolina Bartels-King from London has benefitted from the Rosemary Conley effect. However, what she lost was the domain name "rosemaryconley.com"!
For the full decision see: WIPO Domain Name Decision D2006-1401 for rosemaryconley.com
What's interesting about this is that it confirms the same stuff that I've been preaching for a while:
- Register key domains. They are cheap so avoid the trouble. If you've chosen to use "rosemary-conley.co.uk" as you main domain, get the .com and the version without the hyphen with co.uk and the .com too as these are such obvious ones that people type as a straight guess.
- Use a watching service to alert you to this type of activity.
